Hey friends! Soooo, I missed last week and decided to condense two “SOS’s” into one. I promise I will get better at this blogging thing someday! Haha.
One. We had a painting party last week and of course Isla got more paint on herself than the paper. Oh well, that’s why they make em’ washable, right?! And she christened our new sink with her little baby bum! Now that we have just one tub, instead of two, baby baths will be a little easier.
Two. Falling up all of the things has officially begun at our house! And after this cooler weather this weekend I’m totally ready to hit up the pumpkin patch. Anyone else?
Three. While Daddy was working last weekend, the girls and I had a little date night starting with dinner at Firehouse Subs that just opened in our area. 1st timers, but we’ll definitely be back! We followed that up with a little Target and TJMax stroll. They are pretty good little shoppers, so that helps with mommy’s patience level which is typically not very high.
Four. My husband convinced me that we should do another Whole 30 to reset before the holiday craziness and I agreed it would be good for us. Though 4 days in we are cracking a bottle of bubbly to celebrate #6 below, and then fell completely off the wagon Saturday and Sunday. But, tomorrow is a new day and it’s different for us this time around. It might not be a true Whole 30, but we are going to try to eat that way at least 90% of the time!
Five. Guess what?!? I’m an auntie again! My sister-in-law had her sweet baby boy early Friday morning and he is sooo cute—eeeeek! So in the spirit of babies, I have another new post up with my Top 20 Baby Items available on Amazon. Go check it!
Six. We officially wrapped up our first round of LIIFT4 on Friday!! WOOP! So proud of the hubs and I for sticking too it. We’ve really tried to challenge ourselves this year and working out for a consecutive 8 weeks was definitely a challenge for us! As sad as that sounds, I’ve never completed a full program without taking a break–never. I really tried to focus this time and Aaron being my accountability partner helped us to stay on track.
Seven. So we did a thing today. We ran a 5K, in the pouring rain. Well, it didn’t pour the entire time, but it was still super wet and muddy and cold. Staying in my warm jammies would’ve been a much better idea, but it did feel good to get out there and to eventually cross that finish line, even if it was like 10 minutes longer than my last run. Hills. Hills is all I gots to say ’bout that.
