It’s time for a little gift guide for the kiddos! Now, obviously I’m shopping for little girls, but some of these options would work great for either gender. 🙂 I tried to compile a good mix of fun, educational, and functional.

I came across this Osmo Creative Kit on Amazon and thought it was so neat! Josie already has a Kindle, so this would be a perfect addition to feed her creative little soul. She loves to draw and write and has quite the imagination. It looks easy enough to set up and would be a good after-school activity when she needs some down/quiet time.
2. Anywhere Chair
We already have one of these Anywhere Chairs from Pottery Barn Kids and I have to say, it was worth the investment. My girls sit in this chair all. the. time. Which is why this is making the list this year because Josie has outgrown the regular size so we need to get her an oversized chair. Most of the covers are washable, and the chair itself is made of a thick, sturdy foam, so they are really comfy and great quality! And not to mention super adorable. And you can even monogram or personalize with their name which adds a sweet little touch.
3. Legos
Over the past year Josie has really taken an interest in Legos. They can sometimes take a while, so she’s at the point where she’ll actually sit still and complete the project and is coordinated enough to work with the teeny tiny pieces. She really enjoys them, so we had to add another set to her Christmas list!
We recently got cable again so we see ALL of the commercials. (yay.) And every single one for a girlie toy Josie is screaming “I want that Mommy!”. This was one of those moments. Though after looking in to these Party Pop Teenies surprise poppers a little more, they are actually really cute! And would be perfect for a birthday or any other celebration. I actually picked one up as a gift from Sophie, our elf on the shelf, for when she makes an appearance on December 1st. There could be another one in Josie’s stocking on Christmas morning. 😉
5. Science Kit
Josie is a very hands-on kid and loves to see how things work! She’s at the perfect age for some science experimenting and I thought this was a perfect little starter kit for her.
6. Doll House
Our girls got this big ol’ dollhouse from Santa last year so we won’t be purchasing this, unfortunately. But I totally wish I would’ve seen this last year because it is so cool! First off, it has wheels, so you can easily move it–genius. And two, you can access it from all four sides so it takes up less space.
7. Jammies
Holiday jammies are always on the list! Though the past few years our elf has brought jammies to wear on Christmas eve, but I’m thinking the elf will bring them on day one this year so the jammies can be worn all month long. 🙂
8. Hat
Both of my girls got new winter coats this year–this one for Isla and this one for Josie–so naturally they need a new beanie to match, right?
9. Book
Josie is at the age where she is learning to read, so these little books for emergent readers are perfect for her to practice.
10. DressÂ
Every little girl needs a holiday dress and I think these little velvet dresses are so darling. Just enough to be dressy without all the frilly and over the top sparkle. And gotta get the blue for my blue eyed girl.
