The Easter Bunny visits us in just a couple of days so I decided to go ahead and get the girls’ baskets put together and ready to go! I shopped about a week ago at Target and Claire’s (online) so I think we’re good to go, but in true Jamie fashion, and just like at birthdays and Christmas, it just never feels like enough. So while I’m double-checking, I want to share with you the girlie easter basket goodies that I scooped up this year.

First I wanted to mention, I tried to get similar things for both girls so there isn’t any arguing over who got what. Try to make it a littler easier on myself. Haha. Ya feel me, mamas?? But I understand that depending on the age range of your children, that might not work.
Also, since we are in a particularly weird season of life during this quarantine, I wanted to do something a little extra for the girls this year. So in addition to baskets we got them an outdoor playhouse, too. Now, I can tell you that the Easter Bunny does NOT go all out like this every year….but! since we had to cancel our upcoming vacation and Josie’s Birthday will be super low-key again this year, I wanted to treat my little bunnies. And I’ve been wanting to get them a playhouse for a while now. And it’ll be perfect to add to backyard playtime.
Okay, on to the Girlie Easter Basket Goodies! I’ve listed 20 ideas for you!
Sun Hat- I picked up Josie this one from Target.
Sandals- I love these rubbery ones for summer. Comfy, easy to clean, and they go with everything. I got this pair for Josie, and this pair for Isla.
Nail Polishes- Love this cute set from Target! I’ll split the bottles between the baskets.
Hair Dye- I hope I don’t regret this one! It’s a rose gold temporary hair dye and I think Josie will LOVE it! Little sister will probably want to get in on the action too! Haha. I have a good friend who has used this with great results so I’m sure it’ll turn out fabulous!
Big Bubbles– What kid doesn’t like bubbles?! The Easter Bunny brought this jumbo pack last year, and he’s bringing them again this year. They were a HIT! And cheap!
Earrings/Bracelets– Since both of my little babes now how their ears pierced, cute earrings will be included in all Easter baskets and stockings going forward. I ordered these from Claire’s, but I’m not sure they’ll arrive before Sunday. 🙁
Headband/Barrettes– Josie just started liking headbands so I ordered a few of these from Claire’s too. Jojo Siwa, oh yeah! Target has some super cute options too!
Books– Always a good choice! I didn’t purchase new, but I’m taking two “bunny themed” books off the shelf and adding them to the basket.
Tutu Dresses– I for sure have some girlie girls here, so we love tutu dresses! But any clothes are a good addition in my opinion. I just think these tutu dresses from Target are darling.
Bathing Suits– My theme for the past couple years has been new bathing suits and outdoor play stuff, but since we took that trip to Massanutten Water Park a month or so ago, I had went ahead and picked up new suits then. But I will probably continue this next year! And play to get all three girls matching if I can.
Outdoor Play Toys– Definitely can’t go wrong here. Especially during these uncertain times of quarantine life! This is the playset we ordered.
Sidewalk Chalk– Same as above! We go through a good bit of sidewalk chalk and it’s super cheap!
Hair Brush– I love the Wet brushes for my girls!
Some other ideas…..
Toothbrush/Toothpaste– Always a must have Easter basket item!
Art/Craft Supplies– The options are endless here: beads, jewelry making, paints, playdough, etc.
Gardening Tools/Gloves- Target dollar spot usually has a lot of cute gardening stuff for kids this time of year.
LOL Toys– We all dread these, haha, but the kids love them! And the little toys make great girlie Easter basket goodies.
Bath Bombs– My girls love these! But always make sure to clean your tub after!
Puzzles– Buy a piece count appropriate for your child’s age.
Educational Workbooks– A great thing to have on hand now to use as a home-school substitution and throughout the Summer.
Wishing everyone an amazingly blessed Easter weekend! XO
